P-47 Thunderbolt #FF71 Easy Built Models Balsa Wood Model Airplane Kit Rubber Powered
Also known as the "Jug," the P-47 was a big, rugged, overbuilt aircraft that was particularly useful as a fighter-bomber for the US and its Allies during WWII able to bring its pilot home safely despite extensive damage. Early versions had a razorback canopy configuration which left pilots with a blind-spot at the 6:00 rear position. A bubble canopy solved the problem.
